Haiku About the Library


The following haiku describe incidents at my public library this past week. The details are vague and no one is named in order to protect the innocent … and not so innocent. Although these haiku describe stressful incidents, usually my job is more relaxing than this. 🙂

The water fountain

falls. Oops! I shouldn’t sit there.

It is not a chair.

Copy guy snarling,

“I have to watch them closely.”

Bull shit! Be more clear.

Delayed teenager

Looks at naked girls online.

Kick off computers.

________________________________________________

Being busy is good.

Library closes at 5;

Why are you here now?
