The Magic of the Library

Here’s another great video promoting a library. It features the same cool people that I featured in an earlier post about plagiarism! That’s right; it’s the neat people at the University of Bergen in Norway. They’ve put together a new video all about their libraries and this time it’s been dubbed into English!

The head of aquisitions is the lead “actor” again. He is delightfully enthusiastic about his role and the library. The video has the same smooth appearance; transitions are seamless and visual effects are clever. The short clip begins by discussing the seven wonders of the world and links it to the fact that there are seven libraries at the University of Bergen. The action transitions to walking through the many resources offered there. The only thing that could have improved this movie for me was if the main narrator had dressed in period garb when he talked about their historical archives! 😉

I hope you enjoy and are inspired by this library’s promotional efforts.

The blog “The M Word” tipped me off to this great video.
