Guys Read 2013

Although I am an Adult Services librarian, I spent much of last week dreaming up ideas for teen programming. I was preparing for an interview at another library in Wisconsin for the Teen Librarian position! Below is the presentation I worked on. I was instructed to describe program(s) that celebrate the many ways guys read for 2013. I was given an imaginary budget of $200 and also asked to to consider ways in which to partner with local organizations and ways to fund raise.

The presentation was created on an online-based software called Prezi that incorporates the best parts of slideshows with an almost cinematic feel. I hope you enjoy! Next week, I will share the instructions for the programs I chose to discuss.
